Practical information

The One Health Conference will take place at UN City Campus 1—an iconic building shaped like an eight-fingered star, with a heart-shaped open space at its center. Designed to embody interagency communication and collaboration, UN City provides the ideal setting for meaningful dialogue and strengthened intersectoral coordination to tackle current and future health challenges through a truly integrated One Health approach.

Below, you’ll find key information about UN City, including practical details for your visit.

UN City Copenhagen comprises two campuses with a total of 2,000 employees. Campus 1 opened in 2013 and houses 1,600 employees from 108 different countries working in 10 different agencies. Campus 2 is home to UNICEF Supply Division with 400 employees and is the largest humanitarian warehouse in the world.

The 10 UN agencies vary in size and mandate but share a common agenda: to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.Gathering the organisations in the same building facilitates and enhances cross-organisational cooperation.

UN City has become a hub where agencies can collaborate, share knowledge and work with experts from different fields.

UN City is called a "city" because, in many ways, it operates like one. It is a smart building that manages its functions autonomously on multiple levels and stands as one of the most sustainable buildings in Copenhagen.

Campus 1 is designed to use at least 55% less energy than a typical office building of its size, making it one of Denmark’s most energy-efficient structures. Its annual energy consumption is less than 50 kWh per square meter, meeting the Danish Energy Class 1 standard.

The UN City is located at Marmorvej 51, DK-2100 Copenhagen.

We highly encourage you to use public transportation. If you arrive by train, you can take S-train line A, B, C, E, H and walk from Nordhavn Station (max 10 min).

If you arrive by car, underground public parking is available (8am–5pm at 24 DKK/hr – 5pm–8am at 12 DKK/hr).
